Mezan Guyana 2011 Rum is a vintage single-distillery expression that captures the unique heavy, earthy character of Demerara rum. Distilled at the Uitvlugt (pronounced "Eye-flut") distillery in Guyana using traditional wooden pot and column stills, this rum showcases the rich heritage of the region's production methods. Aged for a decade in ex-Bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of Guyana, it is then bottled unadulterated, without chill-filtration, added color, or sugar.
