Madre Mezcal Ensamble is a premium artisanal mezcal celebrating the diversity of Oaxaca's agave landscape. This expression is crafted using a blend of two distinct agave varieties—Espadín and Cuishe—which are traditionally roasted in an underground earth pit before being crushed by a horse-drawn tahona. This process imparts its characteristic smoky, earthy complexity. The Ensamble offers a balanced profile, starting with bright herbal notes and hints of sweet roasted agave from the Espadín, beautifully complemented by the subtle minerality and potent floral and vegetal character of the wild Cuishe.
