Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard's Chablis Grand Cru Bougros is an exquisite expression of 100% Chardonnay from the southwesternmost vineyards of the Grand Cru appellation. Founded in 1973, the estate champions a respectful approach to viticulture. This wine is characterized by its Grand Cru quality, blending a robust, slightly rustic character with refined elegance. It is fermented using native yeasts and undergoes a complete malolactic fermentation before maturing for 16 months in wooden vats. The result is a taut and powerful wine that presents a pale yellow appearance with silvery glints. The nose is expressive, featuring toasted, floral, and sweet spice aromas, which transition to notes of citrus leaf and tangerine on the palate, underscored by distinct minerality. Best enjoyed 5–6 years after vintage, served at 12–13°C.
