Caol Ila Moch Whisky

Caol Ila Moch is a unique single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region, celebrated for being one of the distillery's few non-age-statement expressions bottled without a guaranteed maturity period. Unlike many traditional Islay malts, "Moch" (Gaelic for "dawn") is designed to showcase the distillery’s lighter, fresher side of peat smoke. It offers a gentle yet distinctly maritime character, focusing on clean, bright notes of lemon zest, fresh grass, and subtle vanilla sweetness, underscored by a delicate, refined layer of Caol Ila's classic smoke. This approachability makes it a superb introductory Islay malt, delivering complexity without the intensity of heavily peated whiskies.
