Manzanos Gran Reserva

Manzanos Gran Reserva is a classic Rioja expression crafted by a family with history in the region dating back to the 1890s. The 2015 vintage is a complex, old-vine blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano, reflecting the slightly warmer temperatures of the year to deliver extra fruit and richness. This wine is fermented in stainless steel before spending three years in used French and American oak barrels, which perfectly seasons the final product. It presents with superb notes of baking spice, dark fruits, and savory undertones of earth and old leather. On the palate, you'll find silky-smooth tannins and well-evolved flavors of black plum, cinnamon, and a lingering touch of orange peel.
