Tekirdağ Rakı Gold Series is a distinguished Turkish spirit (rakı) known for its exceptional smoothness and unique character, derived from meticulous production methods. It begins with high-quality suma, obtained from specially selected fresh grapes, which is then double-distilled with premium aniseed in traditional copper pot stills. What sets the Gold Series apart is its maturation process: the rakı is aged in oak barrels. This aging step, uncommon for traditional rakı, imparts a rich, complex taste and a beautiful, unique golden hue. The palate offers a velvety texture with robust notes of anise, balanced by the subtle warmth and depth gained from the oak. It is traditionally enjoyed chilled, mixed with water or ice, which transforms the clear liquid into its characteristic cloudy white color (the ‘Lion’s Milk’).
