Los Siete Misterios Pechuga Mezcal is a rare, seasonal expression meticulously crafted in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. This unique spirit is double-distilled, and during the third and final distillation, a whole chicken or turkey breast (pechuga) is suspended inside the copper still. As the vapor rises, it passes over the meat, which helps to subtly "clean" and infuse the mezcal with savory, complex notes. Made from 100% Espadín agave, this mezcal presents an aromatic profile that beautifully balances the traditional smoky agave core with unexpected layers of ripe fruit, subtle spice, and a distinctive mineral earthiness.
