Koch El Mexicano Mezcal

Koch El Mexicano Mezcal is an authentic, artisanal expression of the Oaxacan mezcal tradition, crafted in small batches by maestro mezcaleros. This spirit is distilled from 100% Espadín agave, which is slow-roasted in underground conical stone ovens using black volcanic rock. This crucial step imparts the distinct, deep smoky flavor characteristic of high-quality mezcal. Following the roast, the agave is milled using a stone wheel (tahona) and naturally fermented before being double-distilled in copper pot stills. The resulting spirit offers a complex profile, balancing the initial robust smoke with vibrant notes of citrus, green herbs, and a lingering minerality. It's an excellent choice for savoring neat to appreciate its craft, or as the foundation of an elevated cocktail.
